I'd head to the fabric shops and look in the pattern books....off the top of my head, I'd look at making some rain jackets, even if you piece them together in bright colors with patch pockets....a book cover or two to protect reading materials when camping.....tablecloths for patios....make placemats....shoe holders or holders for mail (I guess organizers would be the word I'm seeking)...dog coats and booties....look in the pattern books and see what you can picture. They'd be good for one side of a camping/beach cushion, keep the moisture away from the body. My suggestion is to go and look in a pattern book first and explore from there.

Today I noticed a lady at a trade show with a very nice purse made of vinyl patches with a cotton lining peeking out....the outer body of the purse and straps were vinyl and when I saw it I thought of you. I'd find something sew up and make a headstart on some of next years Christmas gifts. I am sure you will find something that will strike your eye. Good luck......
