Hi Shyness557, thanks. I wasn't intending to sell here but more for the advice on our idea. They way I see it is that one can save from adding to landfills and one can save cost and expense of buying patterns.

I don't know anything about the economics of your location. Old patterns around here (New England) can be had for ten to twenty-five cents apiece at Salvation Army and Goodwill stores.

Ebay is a good place to sell patterns. I don't think that you are allowed to sell things on this forum. Colleen

I second Ebay. I purchase many out of print and some current patterns there.

I send mine to the amvets thrift store.

I agree .. E BAY .. buy alot of my patters there, especially the older ones that you can't get anymore.

E-bay is the only way I can now get Authentic Patterns, Inc., a square dance dress pattern company that is now out of business. Look for patterns that are uncut and come from a smoke-free home. If anyone in the forum has any, pls let me know if you want to sell/give them away.

Ebay or better known now adays as fee bay is too expensive to sell on. Alot of vendors are leaving there because of the fee hikes. I found a new site that is 100% free no fees at all. It's new but seems to be picking up quickly.
