If the cloths are long enough, they should make lovely curtains. I have used table cloths many time for valances, table runners etc., for my kitchen and dining room. If you are going to use the clips, make sure that the edge you clip them to is tough enough. You may have to reinforce with iron on interfacing or a fold of the fabric making it double. If you have to fold the fabric, I would iron it into place with "stitch witchery" to give it more strength.

I have done this myself and would do it again. One time I just was fed up with my window having only sheers and I thought " which tablecloth could I use?' I used a mauve and silver damask that did NOT look good on the table, but it looks lovely as curtains. For years they were in my bedroom and now they are in the bedroom I use as a sewing room. Just hold up your fabric to the window to see how it looks. Mine looks mauve on the table but more pinkish to coral on the window.

I used twin flat sheets to make curtains. Just cut down the center, fixed the inside seams, used the "top" of the curtain for the rod. Then just had to hem it - I was lucky, they fit the window perfectly. Found Martha Stewart blue gingham on clearance.
