silk drapes

I bought silk material to make drapes for my living and dining rooom windows. Both are 11 ft. high and one is 108" wide, the other 79". I live in Florida and one of the windows has the morning sun filter in through the sreen enclosure. My question is do I need to use interling in addition to the regular lining? I don't want the drapes to have too much draw (don't want to block a great view) but I also want them to look nice for all the cost and time. I am also a bit intimidated using the interlining because the volume of material will be so great. Also the drapes will be pinch pleated and tied back, they will not open everyday. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
