5 Hearts Board WIP & Done

Whew! After getting a puppy for Christmas my life is no longer mine. I am getting withdrawals from not spending as much time here looking at everyone's things or doing my mosaic work. Here is one I finally got completed. I think it's a piece of 17x16 plywood with stained glass. I've got to get a cutting system. For every 10 triangles I made, I throw about 5 away. Not really happy with the results. The brown triangles on the left really vere to the left. Not as noticeable on the pictures as much. My drawing correct straight lines needs some work too.

EVERYBODY IS PUMPING OUT GORGOUS STUFF!!! WOW! It just POPS!!! PLEASE tell me what the red glass is, it's awesome!!!

That is a piece of Bullseye glass that I had been saving for awhile. A little pricey, but has nice waves in the glass.

WOW! Does grout make a difference or WHAT? That is really wonderful SIRIUS! It was SC-ish before you grouted but it is really POPPING now!

P.S. Maybe you can return the puppy and get a cutting system? LOL!!

Pretty, pretty, pretty!! I can't see a thing wrong with your triangles or lines! I love how the black grout gives it depth and makes the center heart really pop!

New puppies are so much fun and ,yes, very time consumming, but they make up for it with smiles and kisses and that sweet puppy smell!

So, were you inspired by all the Valentine stuff they've been putting out ALREADY!! LOL!
It's really nice. Good design work, as usual.

Ahhh...Wolfgang is too cute!! Are his eyes really that blue?

No, his eyes are black. The flash turned them blue. He is at work all day with my DH and I only see him in the evening, so alot of his pictures have the "pet eye".

Oh that is very pretty. Love that colors. And the doggie is cute also..

Love the piece and the puppy!

We also got two puppies recently - little chocolate brown labs that are soooo cute! (but their brown piles are NOT so cute - lol)

Is this an interior or exterior piece?

Wolfgang is adorable! Are you going to keep his ears long?

I don't know that I would have noticed the wayward triangle if you hadn't pointed them out. I know how you feel, though. I know where all the imperfections are in my work. I'm not sure how you are doing your triangles, but I have better luck with them if I cut squares first then cut diagonally across to get the triangles. I am learning to not mind it if they aren't all exactly the same. After all, the pieces are hand cut so you should expect some variation.

GOOD GRIEF!!! Talk about beauty and perfection! GEESH! There's not a flaw anywhere. That is truly a beautiful plaque. You perfectionists make me want to stop posting my stuff. BUT I'M NOT!!!

I'm like Slow I don't see a flaw anywhere,it's perfect and I too love that red glass.

Well thanks for not noticing my flaws. I guess when it's in your face and you're staring at it, you see everything. It is an interior piece. Need to get more cement board to do some outdoor stuff.

Sirius, that is a GORGEOUS plaque! I love that red glass! Not sure I have ever seen that. Your work is very meticulous and well done - no need to apologize for anything.

I love your heart plaque and your puppy is so cute. When we first got Missy it was a rough time for me the first couple of months until she was housebroken since I was the one home with her so I can sympathize with you not getting much done in the near future mosaic-wise!
