I don't know, but I'd like to report that in 1998 we painted our house with TruValue paint, and it's as beautiful as it was the day we painted it. No sign of wear, peeling, chalking, fading. The colors are still true. I'm pleased as punch. Wherever we've painted inside (we have a lot of wallpaper), it's been TruValue, too - All beautiful colors, washable, etc.

It's good stuff, and I've wondered who makes it, too.

Thanks for responding, Sherrmann. It's curious, isn't it?

yes. I believe I have heard that also we have used sears paint for many years . Good as gold until they stopped carry it at our sears.

SW does make some of Sears paints. They are special formulations for Sears as well, meaning you can't get SW paint at Sears nor can you get Sears paint at SW -- different brews for each.

Sears is doing something brand new -- they will carry Pratt & Lambert!! That is very, very exciting IMO. Pratt & Lambert's Accolade is yummilicious and the P&L palette is really kinda fab. Definitely makes Sears stores more of an upscale paint destination.

When will they carry it? I haven't checked into their paint in some time.

I believe it is already in some Sears stores.

Thanks everyone!
