I think this is number 5 now for me in the last year or so...They were all gifts. But this one is a little more me,

So I think I'm keeping this one. Decided to play with this instead of grouting my box!haahah

Did you notice the B.B's AGAIN!!? Seems I end up with them on every silver teapot!

I would never get tired of a teapot. They're just cute, and they all have character.

Your work here is really nice- well suited to the silver of the TP, and it all "works" as though it were originally designed that way. Great achievement! I like it! Will you grout, or just leave as-is? It has a certain appeal even without the grout, I think.

Looks like something a genie would pop out of the spout. I like the design on this.

I will grout for sure. But Can't decide on a gray, silver or black. What do you all think...Black?

So glad you said that Sirius! That's just the look I was going for...The shape of this teapot looked like a genie lamp to me!

Hazie, I have a particular fondness for your teapots (hehehe!), and I love them all! I am so wowed by how different this is from the exchange. Your comfort zone is huge! And this teapot is super cool.

Broken record again . . .BLACK GROUT.

Nice teapot, btw - lots of character.

Already beautiful and exotic. Great shape and really like the rich colors with the mirrors. Can't wait to see it finished.

How cute! Love this, it looks like out of "1000 and one night" or "Aladin". Very pretty. Oh yes, BLACK.

I've yet to try doing a teapot, so I LOVE seeing yours!
It is really GENIE-TASTIC! The round mirrors are wonderful and the BB's give it an understated bling!

You did it, very alladin looking! Very pretty, I'm with the rest, black!!

Ok, I see I wasn't the only one to think it, but I DID immediately think of a genie bottle! And if you don't look directly at that purple thing near the spout, you can imagine a genie IS coming out of it! I REALLY like this, Hazie!

Wow Hazie that is spectacular...I agree with the others about the black grout. I absoulutely love this teapot. I love the handle and the spout..too cool!!! What you've done with it is awesome!!!!!

I bought those exact ball shot bb's the other day. I liked the size of them aposed to the smaller ones. Havent got to use them yet cause Im still working on the dang chair...(almost done..will be ready to grout by friday for sure!!!)

I love those gold tiles..I have the same ones in silver. They have such depth!!!

Do you prep the pot first by sanding or anything or just stick the stuff on???

oh yeah Hazie, we're just sick to death of your teapots NOT!!!! another amazing, groundbreaking project. That one is really unique! I see grinding circles is catching on! LOL

I love it, it's fabulous and magical in a Arabian genie kind of way... what is it with all the middle Eastern looks these days - it's just dazzleing!

Charming teapot! The colors sure match your red and tan decor. Can't wait to see it grouted.

I like your teapots Haze!! The spout and handle on this one has a nice design too. Your mosaic work will put it over the top!

Oh i dream of jeannie. Like the colors. Can't wait to see it grouted. It looks awesome.

I love it. You could do black grout/silver wash.

You're right this one is much more you and it goes with what you've been making lately for your home.I love this one ,the shape the colors everything can't wait to see it done.

Nice teapot! I like the idea of black grout with a silver wash.

Now that is cute! I love the colors too....it is definately me also. I love earth tones mixed with rich reds. Beautiful!

Yes ma'am, we can stand anything you put out there, girlie. They all are spectacular. I do declare - I see orange mixed w/that red and beige. Now if you can ever bring yourself to put together some blues w/those oranges, greens w/some purples and reds, and tourquois, and oh, let me see - you get the picture. You'll get brave one day, and knock our socks off. This teapot is sweet as can be. You gonna make anything to go w/it?

The details on this pot are great. I'm guessing you are only doing the body? I can't believe those big ol' honkin' things are BBs! I thought they only came in small. What size are they?

OH PRETTY PRETTY !!! This is going to be great in your house!! That tea pot is a wonderful shape and I think your design on it is so great!!

Do BB's come in different sizes? I can see the edgs of your box but nothing more on it.They must be a nightmare to get in place. And to STAY in place while the glue sets up.

Shades and Adina I thought the same thing after reading about the cool BB's everyone was using, but found out at the store that these are slingshot balls! I have the same ones as here, and I love them! Like silver pearls! Hazie, beautiful teapot! I agree with the black grout with silver wash! Did you make or buy the little round mirrors? I saw some on e-Bay!

    Shades and Andrea....
The B.B's (slingshot balls) are a little bigger than regular bb's and are a major pain to glue on. I always regret doing it after I start!

    Jennie...
The little round mirrors I found at hobby lobby.
Wish they came as small as Chickee has been gtinding them.
I'm sure she does more than anyone!haha

Slow... This is a lone teapot. No little pieces for this one. I do have a whole other silver set to do though.
    Maybe in a few months.

Love it! I have a tea pot that is similiar, but waiting to see how much it is worth. It is made by James W. Tufts, who died in 1902. I'm not sure how much it would be worth now, since it sat in sea water for some time and the inside is flaking off, but the outside is beautiful. If it isn't worth anything, it's getting mosaiced! lol Love those BB's, I remember thinking they looked like gray pearls when I saw the tea set you made :)
