I have a mirrored project on the workbench now ... but my brain is always thinking ahead . ( Seems like I never finish one project and I'm already onto the next one ! )I found a beautiful picture of a swan sitting peacefully in amongst weeds in the water . I'm in love with it. I think I'm going to go out on a limb ..... and make it into a mosaic ....... OUT OF SCULPEY .

My brain is too full of techniques I want to use to list ... My question is ... about using Thinset. I've never used it before. Do you put it on kinda thick so that when you press the tile down in it - it squishes up into the spaces and looks like grout ? Can it be painted ?

I am SOOOOO Hoping - I can make this 3-D ...
