Thanks! These would be the Gawdawful Gold-glitterball ornaments that "no one in their right mind" would buy after Christmas at WM, as well as those hideous pilar-candle stands-of-varying-heights that the same "of not quite sound mind" person would choose to take home.
Alas, I slumped and became "that" person this year! HA!
(Wonder how much I'd have to pay for this at a garden center...I bet a heckuva lot more than the $3.75 + materials that I paid for this one!

Well you l'il heifer - that's downright BEAUTIFUL. 'fraid I'm guilty of having some candles on those stands, BUT it looks good in my Saudi/gaudi house. OH YES, you'd pay a purdy penny for this number in a garden center. I LOVE it. You didn't say what material the gold glitter ball IS. Glass???? Good mosaicing.

Plastic ball, and oh-so-sorry about the reference to the "hideous" stands. I'm not into ornate, but it works for a lot of people (cuz they know how to decorate with it to make it look nice without it screaming "Castle De Font- Leroy.") There were SOOOOO many of these left over after Christmas.
And it worked for this piece. I think I'll make more! (Yeah, you only buy one or two of something, then realize you should've bought more, and now they're all MIA- shoot. Guess I'll go hit up the bowling alleys.)

It has spring colors in it. I almost did the same thing - mine was going to be done in sparklie black, green, purple with mirror - and I thought "dang that isn't spring-like" so I had to rethink it.

That will look great in your garden. I have my idea what i'm going to try and do on mine. But been sick so now feeling better i can go play. Those are spring colors also.

That is pretty; you now have something new to add to your garden or a gift ahead of time. Two good positive things. And I love the stand. That looks great with the ball and I bet they look great with candles. Slow, if your "crazy" decorating is like your mosaics, your house should probably be featured in an interior design magazine.
