Bistro Table

I finally finished this little table. I really regret the tile in the centre, but I started in the centre and worked out without a real plan, just started gluing, Oh well, it is what it is! I'ts a metal patio table, 24 inches wide. A gift for a friend's 50th bday next week.

Thanks everyone! I'd love to do a couple more of these, they're fun! not too big to take forever, only 24 inches. I don't need one, but I'm trying to find a place to sell a few things but everyone wants such high commission.
I'm sure my friend will love it, she has a small patio and it should fit nicely, her sister is getting her the chairs to go with it.

I think it is really beautiful. I have a few here you could do if you want to run on down here to Texas? I would be so proud of it if it were mine. What did you use for a substrate, is it done right on the original top?
Fine job and great art. Keep up the good work .

    Hey, I'll be 50... some day....I'm a friend....hee hee!

Another great piece! You're amazing. Can you tell me, do you cut all your pieces, even the edge-squares? I'm assuming the flowers & edge tiles are all from the same type of glass?
    Thanks!

Hi mmqchdygg, Yes I cut all the squares, one long strip, then I use a ruler to cut to size, they aren't perfectly square. The flowers and edge are from the same blue....I just love blue glass, whenever I want to make something, blue always comes to my mind first.

OH squirrelly that blue glass is gorgeous! Love the design and how it turned out. Very lucky friend.

I love the blue on the table, it really pops. You also did a great job of cutting those flowers. I think your friend will be really happy to receive this.
