Thanks so much! I was shocked to like several of the granites you sent in the links. I really liked the Crema royale, and wonder if with pickled cabinets it will update the kitchen making it look fresh with my stone flooring and soon to be new back splash that will go with a granite choice. In the future I'd have the cabinets painted some sort of light shade that will compliment. I actually liked the movement in the stone. I'm thinking if I keep everything light then the movement won't be too much.

I agree. I like stone that has some movement and the Crema Royale is magnificent. It just seemed to me to select something that works with your current colors and that way you don't have to be in a hurry to paint the cabinets. When you do get ready to paint, this stone could go with either a light off white (or cream) paint or could go with darker stain if you preferred - or a combination of both.
