Oh, Bama. You are going to have another story to tell about this trip and switch plate covers to show for it too. A great added bonus. Sounds great to me! Enjoy your "found" funtime!

Ooooohhhh, maaaaaannnn!!!! To think I HAD to take my mom, who drove us in her own car, which didn't get flight delayed, so here I am sitting back at home and BAMA is "stuck" in 'kana with The Queen! NOW IS THAT GAL LUCKY OR WHAT?????

We had SUCH a great time! I have looked at my own pics SEVERAL times through already, reliving it. "What? You didn't see that picture? We'll just have to start over from the beginning again! Darn!"

    Carol

What a treat to see the picture of all of you! And the tour of Slow's wonderful home! So glad y'all got to go! Looking forward to the next set of pictures.

Well, miracles never cease! Today we (slow and I) decided to drive to Dallas so I could catch an earlier flight.
Wouldn't ya know we get in Dallas and there is a TORNADO WARNING!! Freakin' weather! We were in some heavy rain and saw some suspicious looking clouds, but no flying cows, thank goodness! I made it into the airport (thanks again Slow for the ride), got checked in and found out my flight was delayed 40 min because of the weather.
Yada, yada. I made it home at 12:15am.
    I'll post more pics tomorrow...yawnnnnnn

Aw, man..a TORNADO warning...and you didn't get another day out of it?? Glad you're safe at home now!

You could have milked those storms into another day or two with Slow and Flag! What were you thinking!!! Glad to hear you and Annie made it home safe and sound...........love the pictures.........and love hearing all about the adventure!

I am glad to hear te plane stayed in the air to get you home. Although I wish you could have stayed longer. We need to work on a reunion where all of us could get together. If we plan it far enough in advance, maybe everyone could get the time off.
I enjoyed every minute of our time together, all of us. It was GREAT.

Well, hey, y'all. Can't stand Shea's computer, but had to see if you made it BAMA. I knew where the tornado was headed, so wasn't too worried that your flight w/be cancelled. I w/make a bet, though, that the one out of TXANA was cancelled, cuz the news said T. was getting their share of the storm. Thank you, FLAG, for showing us your wonderful Paradise. We got there just in time to beat the rain and wander around those fantastic creations. You are some kind of artist, to say the least. IMO, it was worth the stay-over, BAMA, for you to see her Queendom. Anxious to get home today to continue creating - cuz it'll be too wet to work in the yard - yea!!! I might just roll some mesh into a mini-tower to mimic FLAG's MANY towers. What a great time we all had. I have a feeling this forum w/see some interesting creations from the workshop experience. I could feel the inspiration bubbling among the participants. Have a great day, y'all.

Does this mean more pics?... from Annie?? Lady V?? Slow?
What a wonderful time!! I'm STILL not over meeting THE GYPSY!!! Today I'm going to sit down and do the painful task of pricing my "Wares" for this weekend..The Garden Art Showing!!

    Ok, here's one for ya.

Notice the big pile of stuff in the middle of the table and the silicone? We smushed it all back, lit a candle and had a lovely dinner of the best stew, cornbread and salad.
Nothin' like dinner with the Queen!!

Gosh it sounds like you all had the best time. Crazy weather is so unpredictable. I really am looking forward to seeing all the finished projects every one has began. I really found that class opened up the doors for such cool garden art. The possibilities are endless. Rianna is a great teacher, so enthusiastic. I know all the people I've met off the forum were a joy to meet. Just great fun ladies, more get togethers are a defenite thing.

WOW......And how neat and orderly you are in your work/stash area! The backsplash is the bomb.......how cheerful..........you couldn't keep me out of the kitchen...who needs sun! Your yard art is so NEAT..gotta check this out more when I can sit still.

Moving on down the road to the Queendom, drove up and what a beautiful site, made me ashamed to go home to my plain Jane yard, but no more I am inspired...just as those who go to PV are...my head is spinning on where to start...Beautiful white picket fence and flower's greet you at Slow's then the amazing mosaics.we've seen them here but nothing like in person...and miss Queen herself,my goodness she looks so young in person,25 yrs younger in person ,a real southern hostess..I had such a wonderful time and can never thank you enough for all the trouble you went to,and you will say it's nothing but it was,and we all appreciate it soooooooo much...pictures from Slow's follow outside pictures.

this all looks so fun! I envy you all! and Slow should take a bow for making this all happen! Congrats

Thanks for sharing your pictures Ronnie, Looks like SO much fun!!

WONDERFUL!!! Thanks for All the pics Everyone!!! Makes me feel like I was there, since I certainly was in Spirit!!!

Talk about talent! I've never been so inspired by all the great mosaics at SLOW's house and by the pieces everyone brought to the show. AWESOME!! The class was beyond words and learning Riana's technique just fuels the imagination. If you haven't taken the workshop and get the chance, do it! You'll love it!

I'm not bowing, and y'all better cut that "Queen" crap out, you hear?!!!!! I was just so thrilled when I took Riana's workshop last year, that I want EVERYBODY to take it. It frees you up looking for stuff to mosaic. It shows you how to make ANYTHING you want to make from scratch. I was just thrilled to share the experience w/you wonderful artists that came. I, too, was inspired all over again, so the pleasure was mine.

Oh the pictures are marvelous! Inquiring minds want to know about the mosaic art show....love to see pictures and find out who won the prizes!

    Becky

P.S. Slow & Flag...love the pictures of your homes and gardens....all the mosaic work is truly inspiring! I can't wait to get busy!!!!!!
