Wow if that isn't beautiful. The blue and yellow go really well together and the flower petals are wonderful. I should think it would bring in a lot of money.

But, I'm humbled by all your praise. Thanks so much! I really wanted the glass to be more yellow for the sunflower. This glass was more of an opaque and brown..but it turned out nice. I am a true perfectionist, so it takes me hours to complete my work. The petals and leaves I finished on my grinder. So, if anyone likes the smooth look, you really need a grinder.

I think the lady who won it, liked it. So, that made it all worth while.

Really pretty! Sunflowers are always so cheery and you captured the look perfectly....I like that glass for the petals...shows the variations you see in real life in some vareties!

The glass in the middle of the sunflower is a dark brown textured glass. I don't know the name. Sorry. I bought a huge piece of scrap of this and I used it only for this purpose. It looks black in my projects.
