You must have the disease!! You jumped in with both feet didn't ya? How are you coloring your grout? Such neat colors. I think ANYTHING could be mosaiced. As long as it'll be still long enough!

Welcome, Ann! You have some beautiful art work! I do love your different grout colors. Where are you buying the big glass accents? I love them and don't find that many options. Thanks for sharing!

Ann, those are great!! I, too, am struck by your grout colors, not to mention the WONDERFUL large swirly half marbles! My favorites, tho are the topiary looking orbs...are your gonna "plant" them in the garden on the posts? I think that would look great with flowers and greenery around them.

Wow! What a wonderful way to start the day! Thanks for the great words. The swirly half marbles I got at Wal-Mart. They only had like 5 bags total of marbles left on the shelf and I bought all of them. Nice - the "shells" are actually some gaudy necklaces I bought at a garage sale and took apart. That's the same way that I got the white "beads". The "orbs" are about the size of baseballs. They are "high bounce" balls that I also got at WM. I think they will be great in the garden. The only grout that I actually colored was the lavender colored. The others are painted with acrylic paint. I was disappointed with how much paint I used on the lavender so thought I would try this way. I think the colors stay much truer so will use that method. I sealed the grout before I painted but think I will go over them with some polyurethane to make them shiny. Whatcha think? Started on my second stepping stone last night. My DD graduates from HS on Friday so you'd think I have better things to do - NOT!!! Thanks again for the kind words. Coming from ya'll it really means a lot.

Hey, Ann, what's funny is, I saw your thread called "My First Projects" and who started it and thought, "I thought she'd been around awhile." ? Started reading, then noticed the date :)

Another funny, this time, the one that made smile most was the one with the eyeball-barnacle things. Funny how different things strike at different times. They are still all fun projects!
