Hello and finished project

Hello everyone! Life has kept me from the fun stuff long enough! During this period I have managed to finish one mosaic project. A mirror frame for my daughter. I seem to have forgotten how to post a picture, so I hope this link works...I also hope I've got this post in the right place!

That is a wonderful first project. I bet your daughter is thrilled. You did a great job and this is just the beginning. Keep the pix and projects coming.

What kind of tiles are those gold/yellow tiles. And the teddy bear Adorable

No,mermaid4life, this is not my first mosaic project. I have done a few before. I just haven't been around for awhile. The yellow tiles are mirror tiles...which I kinda messed up by using the wrong type of glue, the teddy bear started life as a pin. This is a 3-D, multi media piece. It contains buttons, jewerly bits, half marbles, stained glass, seed beads, and inspirational stones. I think that's all. And yes, she loves it. She's a teddy bear collector, and I used her colors for it. I have a couple of other things started, but not ready for a WIP just yet.

CHICKEN - my gooooooodness - I remember you, and it HAS been a VERY long time since you've played w/us. Oh, my, what a comeback too. The colors and shape of this mirror looks so much like old world jewels. These are my favorite color combinations - red/green/gold - you never go wrong w/that combo. Truly a beautiful mosaic job. You are soooooooooo welcome back. Don't leave us again.

Thanks ladies! Those comments coming from the two of you make me feel that my efforts were worth it! It is a shame how life interfers with fun sometimes...but I think things are gonna be lots more fun now.
