Before and during pics

Our teeny Neo Victorian house. The informal living room is on the other side of those west-facing windows.

Our living room BEFORE. Note that this sofa set is GONE. It was too small for Hubby. We will get "new" furniture. Everything we own is old or second hand, so we're not attached to anything.

As for the windows, we do not have a view, just a suburban cul-de-sac and kids playing street hockey.

Old and new paint colours:

New wall and builtin across from the windows. Glass doors are on the cabinet now and we're waiting for ceiling trim. Hubby is our designer and contractor.

Just an FYI (since you said that you thought these posted as a separate thread because you re-named the subject), this posted as a new thread because you posted it from the main page with all the threads showing...not as a follow-up to your original question. You can change the subject and that will not cause a new thread. Just thought I'd clarify that for you. Lovely trim work BTW. Your DH is very talented.

Very nice! What lovely colors and details your house will have when it's all done.

I remember when you posted a picture of your home's exterior a while ago. It's so pretty. It's beautiful inside too!

I agree, your house is really pretty. I love the built in cabinets and the way he continued the wainscot look across the bottom.
