Thank you for all the nice comments! I do plan to fill in the whole thing, but I may try taking Shelly's advice and leaving part undone on my next window. I have all this bright aqua blue glass that I'm dying to use for that sky and I need more stuff on the land part in the background...having too much fun to stop now!

My kids and I sit out on that swing a lot...hoping this will add something cheery to look at while we're out there.

Had to come take another look!! What about a bunny or some birds too, or butterflies, bees, oh man it is just so adorable, I Love It!!!

I think I messed up...the bottom half of this this is so busy which leaves the top half looking kinda blah. bummer.

Looks good to me, too. If you look at stained glass panels a lot of them are busy at the bottom and less at the top.

Crackpotannie, no pattern...I just cut, nip, glue and slap 'em on...lol. Then I'm stuck with however it looks.Thanks for the nice compliments!

Really nice piece of work, Lisa. To me, thirteen year olds are just hormones on feet, but your kid is kind of right-- cartoons use simple shapes, as do mosaics. So he's not really wrong... but if he said it with the usual thirteen year old 'tude, give him a "pfffft!" from me. ;-)
