Thank you very much. I was very intimidated when I started. The instructor could have done a better job instructing, but she was very encouraging. I was thrilled that it turned out as good as it did. It was a lot of fun. After looking at the other projects here, I think it might be fun to try something again.

LOL - did the teacher give you a warning that this might become addictive??? Your first project is absolutely flawless. Believe me, if you do another project, you'll join our wonderful playground of mosaic addicts. And, BTW, I think the members of this forum are wonderful teachers - we'll help you along w/most problems.

You did a great job, that's a very nice project. Learning to cut glass is a very important step that seems hard to get past at first and you've got that down now.

The place where I took the class is going to offer another mosaic project class. It will consist of cutting and gluing glass on a window and then grouting and cleaning the work. This will take place over two Saturdays. What do you think? I'm very tempted to try this again. It will be different in that it will be glass on glass and I will have to actually use a glass cutter.

Will it be the same kind of grout that is used?

It's a great idea if you plan to continue with mosaics. Learning to cut glass and other pieces you need is very important.

If you search this forum on "GOG" or glass on glass you will find some beautiful stuff to inspire you.

You did a great job on this! I love how you left the edge natural. I think it creates a really nice effect. I would have never though to do that. Nice color choices too!
