while I was at the H4H store, there was a double decker cart they had for a coffee pot and other things on it..

it was mosaiced by one of the girls there and I was asking her about it...(sorry, I didn't think of taking a picture at the time but I will next time I'm there, which will be soon)

the center of the top was mosaiced in about 2" tan tiles, with a whole section painted with what I think is acrylic paint.

it's a seagull and really nice.

we got to talking about it and she said the owner did the painting, she did the mosaic work. he does work on buildings around town.

anyway, to protect it, from spills, or other things that happen to a 'counter top' she sprayed a few coats of

the crystal clear Rustoleum on it..

it's been used for quite a while and only needs some regular cleaning and the paint hasn't been damaged with all the wear and tear.

thought I'd pass that bit of information on to anyone who does some outdoor painting on the tiles, for whatever.
