Blackout fabric HELP

Hello! I got some curtains from a hotel outlet complete with blackout fabric. I am sewing curtains for a bed & breakfast and have removed the seams to piece together the blackout fabric to back some very large windows. Here is my problem: you can see through the tiny pin holes from the previous seam. Any ideas on how to cover? I thought of using electrican's tape but these curtains will get southern sun in sunny & hot California and I'm not sure if the tape would work. Any ideas would be helpful...Thanks.

I have sewn many shades for kids rooms with blackout fabric, and once those holes are in there, that is it. I would NOT suggest using any kind of sticky tape. Maybe buy an extra piece of blackout, cut a strip and seam it together. I am not sure where your seams are, but if it would show from the back, it is just going to look like a patch job.

If you can rework the fabric so that the holes are somehow in the seam- otherwise, but new blackout and cut and seam it it fit.

I sew a bit and am the queen of make do. Maybe you can cut strips of the blackout fabric and use some kind of fuseable web so you don't get more holes....also, maybe doing large french seams and pressing so that one seam covers the other, or are off set from each other.
