We're replacing all of our 20 year old Peachtree windows. Received an estimate of $1100 per opening for aluminum outside, wood inside Kolbe windows. This contractor says he can install from the outside w/o damaging the cedar siding. Another contractor says this isn't possible. I read thru the forum, but am not sure how to connect the dots. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
