You mean arches at a corner on a porch?

I searched Google images for Craftsman porch columns and found a few.

Here's one way - the arches actually come from the square topper to the column, one from each side of it.

I didn't do a good job of describing it. These are interior arches. Same idea as the porch as far as the corner goes. This is the best picture I can find that is similar to what I want, except there will be another one that goes across another doorway to an adjoining room, if that makes sense.

Do it the same way as the porches - the arch "springs" from a box above the supporting column, coming out of the side of the box. The box rests on the column.

Thanks. I'd really love to find a picture so I can show it to our contractor and make sure we are definitely talking about the same thing. I wish I could draw. I struggle with stick figures. So if anyone comes across one, I'd love it!

This one shows it pretty well. The arches are as thick as the top of the column, or slightly thinner, and they just come out of it at right angles.
