Has anyone installed Kolbe Vistaluxe casements and can you tell me if the mechanism rubs on the lower seal when the window is operated?

I like the look of the new Vistaluxe line but the two casement windows I have seen in showrooms have a design flaw. The mechanism rubs against the lower seal, abrading it. In one case the mechanism rubbed so hard when the window was cranked open that it pulled the seal out of its groove. The mechanism arms did not appear to be bent, though one had sharp edges.

Knowing Kolbe to be a quality product I am hoping the samples have seen are early production that has since been corrected.
