it's going to be fun...no matter what the weather has in store..I told her to be sure and wear grubbies...
cuz I expect we'll be muckin' around in the sand/barnicles.

I was so happy with her email, even taking the time from her busy schedule for this chance.
I'm so tired of trying to make sense of the mess I'm dealing with at home...it's going to be a huge relief, to get away for a day.
I have some good heavy 'litter' bags from the driver's license building, which I keep handy, just in case I ever end up at the beach..lol

there's one of my favorites, that my little grandson named the 'crazy beach'..lol
he was 4 at the time and when he would spend the weekend with me, we would go the 4 blocks to the little tiny public beach at the end of the road. it's all of about 50' of waterfront..(I think it was a huge favorite of party animals) it was just full of glass. the first time we went there, he didn't know what beach glass was all about. after he found a few pieces, he was quick to spot them and from then on..he kept saying 'this beach is crazy!..'
it was so cute and then he always wanted to go there.

I've since moved from that place but just this weekend, he was over and told me he wished I would move back to the blue house by the crazy beach..lol now he's 6.
the one who wants to move back here, with me.

I think that chickee and I are going to begin the day with breakfast at a local, well known favorite truck stop and then on to Shipwreck Beads..

Jane thanks for posting some pics of your get together..they are awesome...love the car (wouldn't want to drive it) and the shop how funky!!!

bama and slow, I wished you guys lived near us too, thatr would be just too cool to have a group of us...think of the damage (to our pocket books!!!) we could leave in our wake!!!
