black tube or seed beads? or black coated wire? or specifically arrange your tesserae to leave the wiskers as grout lines?

I did a rabbit with coat hanger whiskers but I like 3d, And when I looked at him I thought of glueing, you know those brooms for the house, black nylon type or the smaller whisk brooms, some strands from those would look cool I think. Or a Corn broom painted black?

Hey NT, Good call on the grout lines thing. I attempted to do that on the fin things. Why didn't I think of that? What is black tube? Seed beads also good, or wire. Thanks for the suggestions!

Sorry Jane. I must have been responding when you were posting! I like 3D, too. I've just never come across an opportunity. Are you talking about a broom one might use to clean? Or is this some kind of craft broom? If I used a coat hanger, how would I attach it?

Yup just a regular sweep broom, wish I'da thunk of that instead of the coat hanger wire. DH is wierdly prone to decimating my creations and this rabbit was no exception, he brushed by it too close and ripped the whiskers off!!
