funky gate

I am looking to add a 10' 2-part gate across my driveway and ran across this Alice-in-Wonderland looking thing. http://www.funkyfencing.co.uk/funky_range/index.cfm

I am planning on building this myself with a pair of adjust-a-gate systems. http://www.hooverfence.com/woodfence/ag.htm

I am not a woodworker in general, but think I can accomplish this with a bandsaw or jigsaw and patience. I have built other standard fences before ("good neighbor" 2-rail 6' fence). It looks like I could use some 6" X 3/4" x 8 foot cedar boards to make a 4' tall fence. If I am correct, I would clamp the boards together overlapping and make the wiggly cut that way and then space them on the final project.

ANy advice would be much appreciated.
