I had an estimate for patio doors and the contractor mentioned how when the bottom trim wood on the windows on the inside of the house is decaying(stain peeling and wood getting white it is and indication the wood frame is rotten and the window should be replaced. I just thought it was from the effects of the sun. Any ideas wht he may be talking about, or is he just trying to replace windows. thanks
