I bought a used danish modern platform bed that is very nice except for one problem - it is squeaky. When you sit or lay on it it squeaks (sorry about the spelling). It is in my guest bedroom.

It is the type of bed that has 2 sets of wooden slats supporting a mattress (no box springs). The squeak seems to be coming from the sides of the platform.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

P.S. I posted this in the furniture forum too. The bed is all teak, with attached headboard and attached nightstand\tables that "float" (they don't have legs). The slats supporting the mattress are wood, probably birch.
