KLINGER made me cry!!!

With happiness!! She came by today for a visit and brought me some gardening magazines(rubbing salt in the wound!) AND a B-Day card and a B-Day present:25lbs of my fav grout!!!(black) Just to see her was a gift! Living outta town, you don't get many visitors! SHE IS SOOO SWEET!!! I'm tearing up as I write this! She even went out to the shed and grabbed stuff for me! AND brought me Tim Hortons coffee!!! I tell ya, joining this forum is one of the the best things to happen to me!!! Just had to share this....

Bless her heart. She is a doll baby, for sure, but so are you. Isn't it great to have a friend such as she. I so wish we could attend another workshop together. I'm getting ready to register for Tess Sinclair's shrine workshop Feb. 17-24 at the Haciendo, girlies.

there's nothing better, than having a kindred spirit close to you in distance. so you can compare notes and get together to do projects, that others just don't grasp.

Awe shucks, I was glad to go see you Jane. Wish I didn't have to go to work and could have stayed longer.Tim Hortons is the big coffee outfit in Canada. Everytime Jane and I go out we go to "Timmy Hoe's". Janes regular is an extra large coffee with four cream and one sweetener, I get a small black, we also get a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with butter. It's like a ritual for us.When Jane has her doggies with us then we get two "timbits" for them, they are little round donuts with no hole.I figured a girl could never have to much black grout, hehe, Use it up and have fun Janie,

Barb, My B-Day is today! And to celebrate I went to the hospital and let the Dr "Manipulate" my broken ankle!! But the best part was that I wore some pants that zip up in the back and unbeknownst to me the zipper(dang nylon)split...and as I was in a coffe line up, the lady behind me stepped up and informed me, she said it's okay tho cuz you could tell I was wearing clean underwear!!! Good thing I wasn't wearing a thong!!!! Just in case you were wondering how I come by the name Calamity....LOL!

Well....HAPPY BIRTHDAY Calamity!!!! I can see how you got the name Calamity, never a dull day! Klinger was such a sweetie to bring you all that stuff, only a friend like that would buy you grout for your BD. I'm so happy I got to be part of your ritual of coffee and bagel. If we could just close that gap between island and mainland I'd be sooo happy hangin with you guys!

Really, REALLY late for a belated Happy Birthday. Been so busy lately raising Monarch Butterflies that everything else is falling on the wayside. It's fitting that the first came out of it's crysalis on Wednesday - your day!

Sorry to hear about your leg, but I see everyone is making the best of it on another post by 'designing' the cast. Getting a good laugh from all the creativity.

Oh, DH is telling me we have another crysalis wiggling. Got to go...
