Before & After Fireplace From Drywall to Stone Fireplace

The home had a slightly contemporary feel and also dated. Look at the H style of the drywall and doors. Additionally the wires on the TV were visible. Our client wanted a stone fireplace and get rid of the H. The drywall was removed, the cables were buried. We manufacture our stone and this style is called Wisconsin Prairie Style stone. It is a blend of two of our different ledge stones and about 20% of our field stone blend. The customers selected warmer earth tone colors and the installation was with out a mortar joint.

The mantel is spruce beam mantel with corbels and stained our shaker maple color. The hearth stones are also manufactured by our company and are 20' x 20" and can be cut down on the job site to fit. The total time for the installation was two days including the prep work with the TV.

Beautifully done, I took a deep breath when viewing the new space because you uncluttered it. It's
Much more "friendly" a space now. Open and clean.
