very large windows help

We need to replace windows and I did some research and decided Marvin clad with wood interiors would work for me. I've gotten 3 different quotes on Marvin clad, wood interior windows with low e and I'm still in shock. Our home is 14 years old, and was built to be energy efficient. Our original Windsor windows are literally falling apart. We need to replace 9 casement windows. My quotes are all $25,000 to $27,000. I'm told its because the windows are large, and two of them have the large 1/2 circle on the top.

Rough opening of 72 1/2 x 101 1/4, 1/2 circle, casement with removeable grills, low e, wood interior, clad exterior, quote $5,600 installed.

Another 1/2 circle casement window same as above RO 60 x 83 is $4,600 installed.

I need 4 regular casements, no grills RO 56 x 53 1/2, and the price is $1,860 each.

I live in the Chicago area and I'm wondering if I should look at another brand? Vinyl is not an option in my neighborhood.

The installers tell me none of my windows are "standard" sizes. Any help in alternate window brands or other suggestions would be much appreciated. I have a head ache!
