Help with Morton Pro system please!!!!!

I cracked open the box today and DD marked off all the numbers like it shows in the diagram. I have figured out how to cut strips one at a time and then cut them into squares. I think I might have the scoring lines one way, then flip and score the other way and then break them apart figured out and with practice I will get better. I've figured out how to cut a triangle one at a time. But now I'm lost. I am left handed but DD is right handed. I am trying to cut a diamond. The directions say to set up the fence for a 60 degree cut but I don't understand how to do that. Why the heck did we mark all these numbers on the grid? Can't they just say set up the fence in the 14th hole or something like that? Can anybody perhaps make a little tutorial (pics help) to explain what I am supposed to do? I know it has an audio CD but I'm profoundly deaf so I don't always do well with listening to a portion and then trying it out. I would be so grateful to you. I've got to get this down pat because I promised Maria I would show her how to do this. LOL

I also am a lefty so I share your pain!!!! I will see if I can set mine up and post some pictures for you...unless someone else beats me to it!! I know it was hard for me to figure out too!!!

Barb, I give you a whole lot of credit for figuring out ALL that in one day. It took me a few days of fiddling because I don't want to follow instructions but had to in the end. I only cut strips, squares, and triangles and none of that with perfection. I have not conquered diamonds so hope Rosie or someone else can help.

I hear your frustration though. I am an instructional designer and I tell you the Morton people need a LOT of help in their material on instructions. They are terrible!!! Someone could make a lot of money if they could figure out this system and write GOOD instructions with a video. Anyone want to go into a business venture?

I've had mine a year and still can't do the triangles,mine did not come with a dvd and I can't figure it out either.crystal 101 did a thread on it but I still did not get it.I would hire someone to show me if I could find someone who lived close to me!!!!!So don't feel bad!

I just got mine a few months ago. All I've done is squares. The disc that came with it is just a CD with someone reading the directions to you. It would be sooooo much easier to understand if it were a DVD!!!
