Design Ideas for Medicine Cabinet, Pls?

My next project has to be my new medicine cabinet. It's about 22X14, beveled glass edge, no frame. I was thinking I just wanted to do a simple big pieces of glass design on one side or maybe around to leave most of the mirror uncovered. I have lots of beautiful opaque brown glass that I want to use. Don't want to take a chance on the glue showing through on big pieces. I have a grinder so I think I can get the pieces to fit together closely because I don't want to grout. That's as far as I can get. Can anyone help with a design or a place to get a design (didn't find anything at our library). Also, do I use GE11 since it will be on a mirror door that will be opened and closed? I look at nice's beautiful blue mirror but I didn't find what adhesive she used. Thanks for any help...

did you try google? Type in free stained glass patterns.
I've spent days looking through them!

Diy, I think I remember using GEII on my mirror.

Also try Googling "mosaic mirror" and then click on "images" and you'll find a WEALTH of really cool ideas.

Wish I had a medicine cabinet now . . . .

Thanks for the ideas. I think I found a web site by googling that has some nice geometric simple designs. Here are pics of the bathroom and the glass I'm thinking of using; think I'm leaving the wallpaper for now. I took down a heavy framed cabinet because it made the bathroom look smaller so I want something simple out of big pieces of glass. If I grind them so they fit tightly together, will it look unfinished without grout or should I solder the pieces together and glue the whole thing to the cabinet? Really don't want to use grout on this.

I've seen so many mosaic artworks that don't have grout that I keep having to tell myself that I need to on certain projects. I wonder what they use on all these outdoor walls & things for adhesive...probably some elusive WEED mixed with camel dung or something.

Anyway, my point is...I have a small project that in certain spots there will be NO room for grout to go, so it will ultimately be "1/2 grouted, 1/2 not" but the design works, so I'm good with it.

mmqchdygg..your so funny!!!! Make friends with that bag of grout..it wont bite!!

diytrying- Soldering the pieces together would be cool,Im assuming you would be using copperfoil? But like mmqchdygg said using 1/2 grout or no grout would be cool to. When the pieces are tight enough together you wouldn't probably need to, they dont use grout when they use (crap the word just totally slipped my mind!!!!) its a glass that is very colorful and hand made that they usually dont grout because it just looks better without it!!! Sorry for the brain-fart I just for the life of me cannot think of the word I want...anyhow..you can make it look good!!!
