Do you want that exact bed or one similar? Two locally owned stores in Homewood, AL carry similar beds. Maybe the same one. At Home, and Three Sheets.

The bed looks very similar to the Restoration Hardware Warner Upholstered Bed.

I have it or one very similar. Mine was made by Stanley (with the stupid name of Louis Louis Eliots Wing Man - almost enough to make you not order it).

We've had it, I dunno, 5 years? We were not satisfied with the part that supported the mattress and our furniture store came out and added some additional support, at no charge. I forget exactly but I think it was only one wooden support for a king sized bed.

We haven't had any problems with it. The wings don't bother me at all. I use swing arm bed side lamps so the wings do not block any of my light.

I don't sit up & read in bed but with the padded back it would probably be comfy. I would be concerned about marring the fabric from hair & hair products.

I like not needing a bedskirt/dust ruffle.

You can't store stuff under it and it can be a pain to dust under there. But honestly, I don't do it often so it's not a major concern in my dusty life.

If you go with Stanley, be sure to ask for a fabric sample first so you can see the color. I think it's greener than the pic on their website.

I don't have any memory of what we paid, we bought bedroom and office furniture at the same time from the furniture store. So I remember a big bill but not the specifics.

Hhireno: It is nice to know that you do not find the wings bothersome. Your info is very helpful to me.
As for susting well that is something to consider.

I think I found out it is a Bernhardt and someone on here, but I cannot remember who ordered one but if I remember did not like the color.
Anyone have Bernhardt and are you happy with quality.

I have wood floors in the room so I just use a swifter type mop to dust under it. If you have carpet, I don't know if you could get a vacuum under the sides.

I think someone with a "j" name had a similar bed. Jockwing? Jakebaby? something like that maybe? I thought the fabric on that one was velvet looking and not woven.
