I did the stem this afternoon, even though we had the screen with a space in there, I decided to see what would happen if I tried to do it. Well I have the cement on there, but didn't stop after my first little experiment to make sure I was ready for real. I didn't make sure it was on foil or plastic or anything, I have it right on a board. I'm going to go out after a short while & run a piece of fishing line or nylon string under it unless someone has a better idea. Looking at the picture I also see places I could have smoothed better, but I'm just counting my blessings that I got the stuff to stick on this one. Next one maybe I'll be harder on myself:)

I may be staying at my mother's the next few days, so I don't know when I'll get to the cap. I think it will be harder too, so I'm not looking forward to it much.
