My substrates talk to me all the time!! And LOUDLY!

It's the ones that whisper or are silent that intrigue me the most.

I have a civil war era trunk in the basement that is as silent as a grave and it's buggin' me!

Ever since the begiing of mosaics!!LOL

That's why most of my "bases" sit around a while so they can let me know what they want to be. Sometimes they yell at me to get them finished too...

Haha, thats so funny. They talk to me too, and I talk to them all the time, telling them your turn will come. My husband thinks I am nuts.

LOL @ Wench. I have also had a trunk calling to me. Even though I am already working on my little office dresser I decided today IS the day for the trunk. I just took a break away to eat something and check in here. Not sure what I am going to do on the trunk is REALLY mosaic since I am going to use larger tiles. I need them to be thick to fill in between the slats on top of the trunk.

So back to nipping soon.

Thats exactly what happened with my chair!! It started out as a flower chair with a center flower with little flowers surrounding it and look what happened to it!! I have not even used the same tesserae that I was starting out to use.

My stuff talks to me also, kinda weird, I'll even dream of them and figure out what I want to do when Im supposed to be sleeping. No wonder I dont sleep well!!!

We are all so weird...its great aint it!!!!

I have this big tube kind of looking thing that was scrapped out, a fire plane part is what it is...could make a great planter, I keep saying paint it and it keeps screaming back at me... MOSAIC ME, MOSAICE ME, MOSAIC ME...I tell it... you're tooooo big to mosaic...you guys really do understand that.... and that's what I like about this forum... :) Dottie

I'm so glad we ran into rain and decided to stop on the way to Alabama!!

That's EXACTLY what happened with my Gift Exchange Project! I was planning on a small chickadee to send, (cost of shipping woulda been good too) But NO!! I was screamed at till I caved!!! And I'm so happy I listened!
And remember that flower tower? Plexiglass wine cooler and globe...same thing, had to get it and do what it told me!!!
