I have it and have cut strips with it,however the morton works just as good,guess the beetle bits would too.

I first bought a strip and circle cutter and they do the job. However, they limit you as to what you can cut. Then I got myself the Morton system and have been into diamonds every since. I'd suggest the morton or bettle systems only because as your mosaics evolve you might want to expand your cutting capabilities too.

I JUST got the beetle bits & flying beetle for my Birthday. Set it up and used it for the first time yesterday & I LOVE it. Now I can't compare it to the morton system since I've never tried it, but I've read comments here that it can be hard to figure out. I can tell you that I had the beetle system set up in 5 minutes & it's super easy to use. I haven't tried to cut anything fancy like diamonds or triangles so I can't report on that yet. But it seems like it will be easier to do angles since it has the built in protractor, no marking numbers on the grid.
