Mary! You are The Queen of Questions! lol! Cute! Bama did a reaaally nice one with bevels that is above a doorway, see if she'll post it again. Clear glass comes in different textures too so it is really do-able. You could use some clear and some textured. Just remember to use clear silicone and smoosh it right to the edge of the glass so you don't get grout bleeding under the glass!

Hi MaryMary. I guess this would be considered a transparent GOG. It was a coffee table top that I did that I have decided to frame for a window hanging instead (haven't gotten around to doing that yet.) In the photo it is not quite done, it is now but don't have a newer pic of it. It is done with crash glass, and you CAN still see through it up close. No reason why you couldn't do the same thing with other kinds of clear glass, just be sure the silicone is solid underneath so it is see-through, if that's what you want.

LR- I've been following your progress on that tabletop/wall-hanging, and it's really terrific! Thanks for pointing out that it is still transparent, cuz I would have thought otherwise. It's a GREAT piece!

bama- I still love the bevel look, even if it isn't a GOG...again, another wonderful piece!
