I like it, it turned our really nice. I like the frit with the tiny beads!!! It gives it a nice affect. Your hummer is really pretty.

Really nice work. It does look like water. Did you put glitter in the grout as you mixed it? Did you put the beads on after you grouted? Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks all of you. LaLa, I sprinkled the gitter on after the grout was done but not set, as an afterthought to see if it would stick. And the beads aren't in grout. I put a line of Aleenes quick-dry glue in the grout line, then sprinkled the beads on. The grouting took longer because I didn't do all of them. I had to leave some empty, to fill with frit & beads. I plan on doing a rooster and using the frit as some feathers. That's why I stuck it in here to see how it would look. Doesn't really work here but I think it will make great feathers! Don't you?

I tried to submit a pic that showed what it looked like after grouting and befor putting the frit on but it keeps giving me a different pic. Oh well... Anyway, I didn't grout all of it. Every where you see frit & beads was left empty! I left large holes in it. I also filled some lines with glitter-glue. But they sunk into the lines too much, so I covered them up with frit. Hope this helps carify things.

wench once used the micro marbles as grout and I've been intrigued ever since.

Check out this piece, you could use the frit as they did the beads, with maybe weldbond or 527? (The picture isnt quite detailed enough, but the whole piece is translucent and small beads were used between the pieces as "grout")
