What headboard? You mean the bed in your second picture? It's whatever you like. Looks like my bedding in my guest bedroom which is Ralph Lauren Winter White or AKA Hopechest. If it was my bedroom and my bed was against the window, personally it would bother me. Everything looks very clean and sterile!! I also like the prints. I can see them mounted on white and framed in black. Have fun.

What's bothering me is the drapes. They look . . . saggy. Can you weight the corners? Or maybe try different drapes there? How about long ones that go clear to the floor?

Thanks all!! The walls behind the bed and to right of bed are masonry so I had to use masonry bits to drill into the wall to hang the heavier art pieces, mirror, and the blinds behind the drapes and drapery rods.

Eileen - I can't tell you how much I admire the way you've kept yourself and your collections together through the difficult times you've had. Throughout your various places your sure decorator's touch has created such pretty spaces, and this bedroom is lovely, especially its "picture" walls. I love the mix of styles and frames; it says "true collector" to me. Could you tell us about the pencil/pen sketches of the two rooms in the final photo you posted? Were all the pics on that wall done by the same artist? You?

Oh, and I like the headboard also! But I wouldn't mind a solid wood in a walnut or espresso color, either.

In the last photo I drew the 4 art pieces on the left. The dog head was drawn by Michael the now deceased gorilla friend of the signing gorilla Koko. On the wall by the door I drew those three charcoal drawings. On the wall near the lamp the water color on the left is mine; the pencil portrait was a self portrait my daughter did in high school. Of course, the lithograph is not mine. The small drawing top right on this same wall is a self portrait of mine with a series of moon eclipse pics I found online and a greeting card that I scanned in and enlarged to print out as art.

Glad you are settling in. What beautiful bedding and yes the bed itself is wonderful. Did you do the detailing on the pillows? Now that we know you are an artist, I suspect you might be part of that project too.

I would add something with height or a heavier piece for an end table. But that is always something for tomorrow.

Agree with Oceanna, add some curtain weights in the bottom. Or are they new and just need to relax?
