My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Can anyone tell me anything about the tile used on the backsplash? Is it onyx, stained glass? Where can I buy it?

    From the way the light's hitting it in the corner, I'd say that this is glass. Glass blends are very easy to find and any local, independent tile store can help you find the right back splash for you.

    I believe that tile is either Artistic Tile, or Ragno....It is very beautiful!

    It looks very much like a tile we just bought in a different color for our new house. Tozen minibrick glass tiles... It's about $70/ft retail but GORGEOUS.

    Sorry it's taken me so long to get you an answer to your question. Tanetyler is right, this backsplash is "Vihara" Jade by Sonoma Tilemakers in the iridescent finish. (It also comes in a "Silk" finish, which is honed rather than polished.) It's a glass tile that comes in several colorways. You can find it online on Sonoma Tilemakers' website.
