My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

A little off topic

This is a little off topic, but I'm kind of curious where all these kitchen remodels are happening, as in where are we all from? I am in Western Washington state, about 30 miles south of Seattle. It seems like there are more people from the east and Canada then from this side of the country!

    Joaniepoanie- my oldest got his bachelor's from OSU so we were there too! Three generations of Buckeyes in my family- Dad, Mom, DH, me and now Son #1! Congrats to your daughter!

    Alabama....War Eagle ! My reno was completed 7 years ago but I still enjoy watching others on their quest for a great and useful kitchen. I also love to share food and answer questions.

    What a wonderfully diverse group...just like the other times we have had these threads. There are pockets of folks from the same areas and then a broad representation. Hello to GA folks...I am right on the border. ( grew up in New Orleans...Go Saints!) c

    Wow! I saw a few Michiganders out there! I only indicated Michigan but my handle gives me away. A2 is what the locals call Ann Arbor.
    My kitchen came from a local lumber store but I snagged a few items from around the country.
    Hardware and tile accents from Pennsylvania while visiting DM.
    Tile from California. I tried to find a local source without success.
    So, I feel connected to both coasts. - now, I wish I had a view of the coasts!
