So after much review, I believe that we are down to two granite choices, Volga Blue or Emerald Pearl. I know ultimately its just a personal preference choice, but DH and I each like a different one a little better than the other... (of course!). The funny thing is I really don't want to use blue in the room other than the sparkles of the granite. Can I do it? Can I use a dark sparkly granite without bringing out the blue anywhere else? The volga blue is so blue in the mica,(but is so spectacular in its own right) the emerald pearl mica is more silver blue, but there seems to be more uniform sparkling with less dramatic blue. With off white cabinets can I still create a warmer rather than cooler feeling space? Which one can I do more with in the rest of the room... (kitchen is self contained, but other rooms on that floor are painted sage and gold, with reddish accents... all warm). I feel like I have to pick the granite in order to go forward with floor, and backsplash, and walls, and.......:)
