If you go with one I think it should be larger in scale. Otherwise, my preference is for two.

I'm with remodelfla--if you want one, not those pulls, but something more substantial. If you want those, then two.

I'm liking the two frosted glass pulls.
I would choose a completely different - longer - handle -if I wanted to centre them in the middle.

Tell me about function. I see many pics where people have two pulls on one drawer. Do you actually grab both pulls to open the drawer? Or do you grab one pull and open the drawer from off center? Neither of those options sounds like good function to me. I'd rather grab one pull and open the drawer from its centered position.

That said, the RH pull looks too small for the drawer. The frosted pull probably looks too small as well, but less so in the photo probably because of the angle combined with the fact that it kind of blends in better. So, I agree with those who say one pull needs to be more substantial.

Two looks better. If you use one, it should be bigger (5-6" per my contractor).

Here's ours with 2, I'm thinking they look too busy but the wife thinks they look good. The cabinet maker suggested 2 and he placed them at the top instead of the middle. Maybe its just me. Maybe smaller ones if using 2 and a larger one if using one.

I was going to vote for two with the pulls you have, but after seeing Larrylwill's picture I'm not sure now.

What I can't tell is if your pulls are smaller or drawers wider than Larrylwill's. From your pictures, two look better... If you want only one, I agree you should have longer pulls.

Could you tape 2 pulls/drawer on a couple of banks of drawers next to each other and then post a pic of it?

I'm with sammi2 on this. Two pulls just seems non-functional to me.

I say two would look better in the cup pulls.

I love the frosted glass in theory, but would greasy fingers be a problem with them? I'm sure you have scrupulously clean hands but my boys would probably wreck anything that gorgeous in 2.2 seconds.

It's looking VERY nice! Those frosted glass pulls really seem to suit; but if one pull in that or metal, definitely larger; two frosted in that size do look nice to me (light and airy a la the design cliche thead), although a bit bigger might work well too because they're so you know what.

Part of why it might look a little out of proportion now is because you only have one pull on one drawer. Once you have the pulls installed on all the drawers it will look good. And I agree, two pulls means two hands to open, and (for me!) that would not work well.

I like the look of two of that size. I agree with some others, a little bit larger one would look good if you go with only one. I LOVE your pulls, and they are going to look fantastic with your granite and counters, and cabinets! Where did you find those?

Maybe this would help decide....Cut up little pieces of blue tape roughly the size of the pull. Place them on several drawers in the one and two pull configurations. See which you like better. It is going to look different when they're on all the drawers.

(I expect to have this same dilemma in about 2 months, so I am no help! LOL I've already been thinking about it and my kitchen is an empty shell.)

I love the frosted pulls, but agree with the other poster in that they may not look pristine for very long. Take a look at Restoration Hardware site again. They have the Gilmore pull that you have there in 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 inch lengths as well. I like the "look" of two pulls better, but one pull may function better for you, especially if your other hand is holding something when you are trying to pull the drawer open. Maybe the longer bin pull might work for you?

I have one pull on my 30" drawers and two pulls on my 36" drawers. Like yours, my 30" drawers are right next to my stove, and I am often reaching to open a drawer with one hand while I'm doing something on the stove with the other hand. Two pulls there would drive me nuts. My 36" drawers are away from everything else, so I always have both hands free to open them. I think both choices look fine, but the difference in functionality is huge.

i prefer the look of two and i like the gilmore pull far better than the frosted glass one.

I vote for the Gilmore in a larger size. Maybe two 4" pulls or one 6" pull. The frosted will not last as long as the Gilmore IMHO

My vote is for two pulls. One looks way out of proportion to me. I have two cup pulls on my 30" drawers and I never need to use two hands to open them b/c the glides are so good. Assuming you have nice glides, two pulls should not be a problem at all.

I like the furniture look of two. I had two in last kit, did two in this kit. Except on my largest and heaviest drawers I usually only use one.

I vote for one larger pull. I have several 36-inch drawers with one large (very large) pull and I like that better and it works fine. Why use two hands when you can use one?

What will be in that drawer? Is it a drawer that you will need to open with one hand alot-like you're holding a heavy pot and need another potholder for example (a bad one I know, I haven't had enough coffee yet). If it's a drawer you will use alot, will you want to use two hands to open it every time? I think that one will be the easiest in actual use, but the pulls are a little small in my opinion. I vote for one pull, but larger than the ones you are considering.

With your style and size, 2 definitely. My drawers are, on average, not quite as wide as yours and are also mitred raised panel fronts which shrinks the mounting surface significantly so I used one but definitely 2 for those.

From your pix, one looks skimpy. If that is the size pull you would use, then I would definitely use 2.

2 pulls. I read somewhere that if the drawer is over 24" you should use 2 pulls (I'm sure that's with standard size pulls).

I copied a picture of a few pulls into Word & enlarged the pull until it was actual size, then printed them, cut them out and taped them to my cabinets. I left them there for a few days to help me decide. I'd highly recommened it. (That was after obsessing over my choice for months so I had to do SOMETHING!)

I think two pulls on a bank of drawers looks too busy. Especially if there are lots of drawers.

If you're going modern/contemporary - one pull, placed higher on the drawer.

If you want traditional - two pulls centered on the face of the drawer.

IMHO two pulls look better. We have chosen to use one pull on drawers Gotta run, a tub full of dishes is waiting me, and I am PROCRASTINATING. Hey, the rest of the house is a giant mess, so the incentive to clean up is gone!!
