I don't have a strainer...I guess you mean dish rack? Not sure what you are referring to. I have a single bowl 30" x 24 ". I just wash the dishes in a larger bowl or pot from whatever I cooked and remove them to a drying pad. Hope this gives you another option.c

Thanks trailrunner - sorry about the confusion! I actually meant the drain strainer. I already have runnels on the soapstone countertop so no need for a dish strainer!

Oh I have the original brass one that goes over the drain...it doesn't stop the water though just stops waste from going down the drain...mine is an antique sink so I am no help to you...sorry. c

My strainer is chrome; it matches the faucet and sink grid.

I think either would be fine. Mine is silver and my faucet is ORB, because I was afraid the ORB wouldnt hold up. If the black is some kind of permanent finish that would blend in really well.

How did you determine the split materials (two stones) on the sink?
