Hi @Skeeley, thank you for the comment and questions! Dark floors and dark cabinets can work and look amazing, but it needs to be done perfectly to not look "dark" or make the room feel very dark and heavy. This can be done with a different types of countertops, wall color and playing with textures. But, just like in a well designed space, everything must coordinate and go with one another.
