Wow! I am visiting my in-laws in Missouri and they don't have Internet. Thought I would check in here today off of my hubby's phone and was surprised to see the number of responses! I wonder if it's because she got votes from this forum. There were a couple of comments wondering why she got so many votes. Maybe they thought only their regular posters would do the voting.

I'm new to the party here. I read the first several posts here then navigated over to the blog. When I realized the contest was over and Texashottie won, I came back here.
I too am dying to know. :(

My first time seeing this thread. I checked out the blog (is that one hard blog to navigate or what?!). My first impression was TH withdrew because comments were made over there about vote count being suspect. Too bad it went down that way, no doubt others asked their friends to vote, too. If that's the reason, and TH was singled out, I have a lot of respect for for her, handling it the way she did. Very classy. Who wants to be accused of questionable methods? She walked away minus one great looking table but with her head held high and dignity intact.

But then TH said this: It wouldn't be wise of me to post publicly. Could be way off base, but to me that alludes to ramifications of posting publicly here. As in a Friendly Reminder (or worse) could be involved, and she doesn't want to push it. So maybe this got reported?

It's all speculation. But whatever it is, sounds like it's in TH's best interest to respect her wishes and keep it off-Forum. ;)

If you want to know, do as TH asked, and private email her. She obviously has good reason to not post publicly about what happened.
