Hello Jenswrens, I am also in the process of picking creamy white paint color...it is no small task! One of my inspiration kitchens is by jenos, here on this board. She used SW Rice White I believe. It is a beautiful kitchen and you can see it if you type jenos into the keyword field search. Good luck!

I picked SW Creamy, but they aren't done yet. I basically matched some trim I already had. Jenos did Rice Grain, which is darker than my pick. SW's website has a nice "visualizer" tool that may help.

The paint thing is hard. You recognize that every kitchen has different color issues, so that's good. I was told that if they get one coat on and I don't like it, we can try something else, so there's that.

No wisdom on SW whites for you, but a hug to say I totally understand. 1+ year(s), 5 different paint lines, and at least 50 paint swatches (off the shelf, and hand mixed) and we STILL haven't found the right wall color (we are close though....I hope). I am typing this just before I return to the paint store, uh, to pick up 3 more samples. LOL.

A note about the yellow walls--they will make paint appear more yellow, so maybe try a white one that is cooler than you think you want to balance it.

I like SW Dover White-It is on the wainscot and the trim in our kids bath and bedrooms. I used Summer White on the walls for our new kitchen, but it doesn't work at all, so I am still trying to figure out what direction to go there.

I used a Duron color, "Almond white," that SW should have in their match program (SW bought Duron). It is a lovely ivory white on my cabinets (which were pink before!)

Jenswrens, are you in the Twin Cities? If so you can have any paint color you find matched at Abbott. They are amazingly helpful. I go to the one on Grand Ave. in St. Paul. They matched the Duron Almond White for me in BM Satin Impervo. It went on my cabinets beautifully!
