I have a contractor I would heartily recommend. They gutted and rehabbed my kitchen last year. I've since recommended them to a neighbor who was equally pleased. They were 100 percent capable of every task thrown at them, including several we didn't foresee. They were professional, courteous, detail oriented, respectful of property, timely, displayed outstanding craftsmanship and construction knowledge, and everything was charged according to prior quotations. No surprises or sudden absences.

They are the only ones I will be calling when it's time to rehab my bathrooms.

There was a GC from Chicagoland on TV a few years ago, I think John Crieber or Krieber, something like that. He's a friends brother and I always heard good things about him through her family and I don't think he would go on HGTV if he had a lot of flaws because the TV loves to pick up stuff like that. I'm sure you could google him if you were interested...
