Help with selecting cabinet hardware

I am in the process of completing a new construction home and need to make some decisions about cabinet hardware. So far, I have purchased the following: matte black door hardware throughout the home, medium brown cabinets for kitchen, laundry room, half bath, master bath, bonus room bar and living room built-ins, white cabinets for daughter's bath and bedroom windowseat with built-in surrounds.

Exta information:

Kitchen: stainless steel appliances, recessed lights and a collection of tiffany lighting(stained glass) fixtures with dark bronze/black finishes, stainless steel sink with brushed nickel faucet.

Bathrooms: black vanity lights and brushed/satin nickel faucets, brushed nickel towel rings, tissue holders, etc...

Bonus room bar: stainless steel sink with a chrome faucet and hand blown multi-colored glass pendant with brushed nickel trim, white appliances

Laundry room: white sink with chrome faucet

I am torn as to the color of cabinet hardware to choose. I would love to hear comments and suggestions. I was thinking about the following:

1) Black hardware for the kitchen and living room built-ins (these rooms are semi-open)

2) Brushed nickel for the bathrooms

3) Chrome for the laundry room

4) Black or crystal knobs for the window seat built-in

5) ???? for bonus room bar.

I can't return any of the products I already have, so I must work with them. Keep this in mind when making suggestions. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

I'm in total agreement with all your choices and I'd use the brushed nickel for the bonus room bar to echo the pendant. Sounds wonderful, lucky you!!

Oh boy! I'm so excited (I love living vicariously!)
IMHO, black cabinet hardware will be too dark with medium brown cabinetry. Also, if they're semi-open, you might want something lighter so the area doesn't seem dense. Bronze cabinet hardware is very in right now. What if you went with something like these oil rubbed bronze cabinet pulls (http://www.kitchen-cabinet-hardware.com/pulls-handles/studio-pull-handle-3-drillcenter-_WLD-P3010-OBH.php)? The combination of medium brown and darker black tint will combine all the elements you have now without making the room too dark. There's a bunch of oil rubbed bronze variations (light, dark, highlighted etc.) so you can pick the right combo for your cabinetry.

I like brushed nickel for the bathroom. It's bright, clean and sleek, and so is chrome for the laundry.

Black or crystal are both exciting and beautiful, so they'll make nice options for your daughter's room. Maybe ask which she'd prefer.

For the bonus room, I'd also go with a bronze or antique brass or something rustique/gamesy sort of tone. Do you know what I mean?

Anyway, I hope this was helpful and not an earful of nonesense! Good luck with your revamp and post pictures when you're done!

Thank you two so much for the suggestions and advice. I too am afraid that black might be too dark with the cabinet stain I have selected. Unfortunately my DH doesn't like ORB, so I don't know how he would feel about that choice. I think I may order a few samples from ebay in brushed nickel, chrome, black, and perhaps ORB and see what we think. I have been visiting these GW forums forever, but I have never posted pictures. When everything is done, I will figure out how to do that and post some pics. I am so tired from having to make all of these decisions!!!
